Last season the group successfully produced the pantomime "Babes in the Wood" directed by Alison Barr and featuring dancers from the local secondary school, as well as a senior chorus comprised of ladies from the local community.
In addition to this the group also entered the SCDA festival in February with the award winning play " A Bench at the Edge" by Luigi Jannuzzi, directed by Nicola Stewart and featuring a cast of John Allardice, Walter Findlay, Craig McLaughlan and Caren McLean with stage manager Jayne Sangster, winning the Western District in first place and also the team acting trophy. Then achieved further success at the Divisional final in East Kilbride coming first place again, they went on to the Arts Guild Theatre in Greenock for the Scottish final on April 26th and came a very respectable 5th place. The team performed again at the East Kilbride one act festival on Thursday 10th May where they achieved further success winning first place and best actor trophies.

The group then held their ever successful evening of One Act plays at the Institute Hall producing "Mother and ME" directed by Jayne Sangster and May Piggott, "A Bench at the edge" directed by Nicola Stewart and also featured our guest team Dunlop Players with "The fat lady sings" directed by Robert Donaldson.

This spring they completed their own production of the highly popular and much loved classic award winning play:
"The Steamie" by Tony Roper and directed by Laura McPherson, featuring a cast of
Moira Megarrell, Jayne Sangster, Alison Barr, Debbie Douglas and David Robertson.
